Yaakooum showed his versatility by stepping up to one mile and four furlongs and winning this "Makers Stakes" race at Goodwood.  It adds another £10,00 to his winnings and he is proving a real star for his connections, with four wins in 2014 while still a 3 year old.

Quest for more records his fourth career win at Ascot, making it four wins and four places from eleven starts on the turf.  This firm ground specialist stays in training for another year, and being able to stay two miles he gives his owner H.R.H. Sultan Ahmad Shah lots to look forward to in 2015.

Having already won over a mile and a half, had no problem at winning here at Epsom over one mile and two furlongs on good ground.  This was a competitive handicap with £16,00 to the winner.  Lightly raced he could soon be looking at black type and the winter carnival in Dubai.

In a matter of three days Tenor records his seventh win in the Listed Nigel and Carolyn Elwes Stakes at Sandown.  His trainer has nominated the Cambridgeshire as his next target before he heads off to Dubai for the winter Carnival.

Tenor records another win at Bath making it his 6 career win and in the process chalking up over £55,000 in prize money for the season. Congratulations to winning trainer John Ryan and winning owners Kilco International Limited.
Layla's Hero

Layla's Hero chalked up another easy victory and his third in 2014 in the Racing Welfare Handicap at Catterick.

A listed winner as a two year old he is now making light work of these handicaps after a long layoff.
El Tren

24th August 2014

El Tren wins again at Frankfurt. Now with four wins and a second from five starts this year he has become a major money earner for his owner and trainer Andreas Wohler. He has not been beaten since a close second at Munich in May.

Holidayend (Nayef X Ihearyouknocking) became the second winner from two runners for the dam Ihearyouknocking by winning first time out as a two year old at Dielsdorf on Saturday.  Her third foal by Shamardal died but her fourth by Rip Van Winkle was sold at the D.B.S. Yearling Sales on August 27th to David Redvers for Stg. £110,00
Supposing (Invincible Spirit X Landmark)

Supposing (Invincible Spirit X Landmark) wins her maiden at Leopardstown.  She will next look to a black type win like her siblings Cameron Highland and Field of Miracles.  Her dam Landmark has a Galileo filly in the October Book 1 Sale.

Yaakooum (Cape Cross X Anna’s Rock) making his handicap debut at Ffos Las fulfilled the potential he has shown when stepped up to a mile and a half in the At the Races handicap (Class 4). Lightly raced at two and just two runs this season he obviously has a bright future having found his best distance. Congratulations to trainer Richard Hannan and owner Saeed H Al Tayer
Falkirk (Montjeu X Jewel in the Sand)

Falkirk (Montjeu X Jewel in the Sand) who finished second at Gowran over one mile and a furlong, but found the one mile and a half too far at Galway on August 1st made no mistake at Ballinrobe when brought back to one mile and a quarter. A close up second most of the way he moved into a smooth lead two furlongs out and kept on well for an easy victory.

Wilshire Boulevard, winner of the Anglesey Stakes at The Curragh at 2 years and narrowly beaten in the Gimcrack at York, gets his three year old winning programme underway with a facile win in the Navigation Derby in Denmark. Congratulations to his new owner and trainer.

Layla’s Hero (One Cool Cat X Capua) wins the Ayrshire Post Handicap and in so doing qualifies for the Betfair Scottish Sprint Series. A quick return after his second at Hamilton three days earlier he made no mistake this time and won comfortably.

Misterioso has a comfortable win in the 2 year old E.B.F. Maiden Stakes at Salisbury for trainer Richard Hannon and owner Michael Pescod. By Iffraaj ex Roystonea he was purchased by Peter and Ross Doyle for 130,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Book One sale in October.. His half brother by Zoffany will sell at the Goffs Orby Sale on September 30th.

Craftsman (Mastercraftsman X Weekend Fling) opens his three year old account at Del Mar with further black type success and an easy win in the Nick Shuk Memorial Stakes. Already a Group 3 winner for Aiden O’Brien in Ireland his new owners, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, have many more wins to look forward to.

Quest for More opens his account as a four year old with an easy win at Doncaster. Having to wait for good or better ground he is a credit to his trainer Roger Charlton, with three wins and three places from ten starts. More wins await.

El Tren wins for the third time in 10 weeks at Hamburg for leading German trainer Andreas Wahler. Obviously black type races now await. Sold at Goffs Orby in 2012 he went on to make a handsome profit for Norman Williamson when sold at the Doncaster Breeze Up Sale in 2013
