So Darn Right recorded her third win over 1200 meters at Nakayama on Saturday.  Winning as a 2YO she went on to record a further win on the 16^th March at Nakayama.  After a long lay off she returned to the same track and over her favourite 6f ran out an easy winner adding another Stg. £80,000 to her total winnings.  These now exceed Stg. £200,000.  She has already been placed in listed company and will return to black type racing in the months ahead.

Her victory on Saturday was a very easy one but clocking a time of 1 minute and 07.6 seconds without being extended caught the eye of many.  The time recorded in a GR1 race over the same course and distance on Sunday was 1 minute and 06.9 seconds.

So Darn Right is the first foal out of the mare Leafhopper.  She does not have a yearling but has a No Nay Never foal and is back in foal to Too Darn Hot.  Leafhopper is a Dark Angel mare with a rating of 94 and is a full sister to Birchwood the winner of the GR2 Superlative Stakes and placed in the GR1 National Stakes.
