Bluesbreaker (Fastnet Rock X Jalisco) was bought out of the Richard Hannon yard and wasted little time in posting this victory for his new trainer Damian English at Cork on Easter Monday. Though the ground was heavy he handled it well and the fact that he was drawing away at the finish suggests that an extra furlong will suit.
Bluesbreaker was the last foal of the well bred mare, Jalisco, and he should keep her name alive with further victories in the months ahead. Congratulations to his owner and trainer for getting Croom House off the mark in 2016.
