Cashew was our first 2YO winner, on May 17th, from the 2020 yearling draft. With four runs since April it was assigned a top weight of 9 st 10 lbs in the Bet 365 Nursery Handicap at Haydock. Going to the front at the 4f pole he was never headed, winning by half a length. The first two to ride away from the field with Cashew being six lengths ahead of the third and twelve lengths ahead of the fourth.
This was an impressive performance and some valuable nurseries lie ahead. As he strengthens he is likely to race in pattern company.
