Cashew (Bated Breath X Taste The Salt) was our first 2YO winner from the yearling draft last year.  Raced over 5f on May 2^nd she was crying out for the extra trip and went to post a very short priced favourite in the valuable Fillies Novice Stakes at Windsor.  When headed at the furlong mark she showed how she relished the extra distance and ran out a comfortable 1½ lengths winner.

Cashew is the first foal out of the well bred mare Taste The Salt who was purchased as a foal for €220,000.  Lightly raced she was placed twice before being retired due to injury.  Taste The Salt has a yearling filly by Kodiac and a Gleneagles colt foal.
