Chai Chai (Zoffany X Flamenco Red) won a valuable nursery at this Chester track in September and having run close in his three starts this season returned to this, his favourite track and won again by four lengths. Held up towards the rear, he still had plenty to do turning in though scooted clear and eased towards the finish. We can be sure that the handicapper noticed in his official rating of 74 will be a thing of the past.
