As the season draws to a close Fort Bastion who ran in black type races at two and three made light of the Totepool Claiming Stakes at Chelmsford.  He has fallen a long way from grace since rated 102 but had ran in very high handicaps at York and Ascot in the summer.  He forged clear in the closing stages to win emphatically and was much too good for the rest of the field.

Our runners over the winter will now race on all weather and Fort Bastion should easily pick up further handicaps.
