Haaracaine (Muhaarar X Fiuise) had his last win in November 2023 after which he had a leg injury and was off the racecourse for a number of months. Returning to the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne to contest the Ronald McDonald House Charities Mile he went to post unfancied at 12/1 but to the delight of his owners he came from close to last in the thirteen runner field to win drawing away. This valuable race worth $50,000 would easily pay for the time he spent off the track.
Haaracaine has managed to win four races In his career todate. His upcoming entries include the Caulfield Cup on October 19th and the Melbourne Cup on November 5th. From the way he finished his race on Sunday, his syndicate of twenty owners have lots to dream about before those two big races.
Haaracaine’s dam Fiuise was an unraced daughter of Montjeu who in her short breeding career bred all winners. She developed Laminitis and was put down at our farm to relieve her suffering. Haaricaine is doing her proud.
