How Impressive (Starspangled Banner X Bright New Day) did not race as a 2YO but as a 3YO got off the mark in January 2022, winning on his first appearance on the racecourse.  Placed 2^nd in March 2022 he was off the track for over a year making his next appearance in April 2023.  Running well when placed four times a win was well overdue and he obliged at Yarmouth on September 20^th when brought back to race over six furlongs.  The Racing Post commented that the shorter six furlongs suited his front running style.  On this occasion he took the lead at the outset and ran on from the furlong pole to win cosily.

How Impressive’s half brother by Codi Bear was the highest Kodi Bear sold at Fairyhouse this week making €62,000.  On the ground is a full sister filly foal and the dam Bright New Day is in foal to State of Rest, a son of Starspangled Banner.
