Islay of Anglesey (Holy Roman Emperor X Fiuise) had his three runs in late April, May and June and got a rating of 72 for his first handicap.  This was over 1m at Yarmouth and he went to post the short priced favourite.  Running against older horses as well as his own age group he won readily with the 2nd two and a half lengths away and the 3rd seven lengths further back.  Islay of Anglesey was the fourth winner from four runners out of Fiuise.  Fiuise’s yearling by Muhaarar was sold at the Tattersalls December Sale last year, to race in Australia.  She has a Ten Sovereigns Colt to be sold at Tattersalls this Autumn and a Blue Point Colt foal on the ground.  Unfortunately she died after foaling this year and with four winners from four runners we have every reason to believe she will produce a perfect seven winners from her seven foals in her short nine years breeding.

The handicapper will certainly notice her easy win on June 30th.  However Islay of Anglesey can be expected to visit the winners enclosure on further occasions in the months ahead.
