Kodias Sangarius won as a 2YO in 2021 and was a winner again in 2022 off an official rating of 80.   She changed trainers in March this year leaving Richard Hannon’s yard and going to Henry Spiller.  After five runs for her new trainer, her official rating was reduced to 62 when she appeared at Chelmsford on Saturday after two months break.  Staying close up from the outset, she took the lead at the furlong pole and pulled right away from the field with two lengths to the 2^nd and six lengths back to the 4^th horse.  This victory earned her owners a nice Stg. £5,000.

The dam of Kodias Sangarius had a Fastnet Rock filly which sold at the Orby sale last month.
