Like a King had a runaway victory on June 17th and wasted little time when reappearing again to run in Norway’s 2000 Guineas. On this occasion it was a tougher battle with just one length separating the first four home.
His dam is a daughter of Kitten’s Joy so he should have no problem in stepping up in distance, to compete in the middle distance races. His owner and trainer have lots to look forward to in the year ahead.
His half brother yearling is by No Nay Never and will sell at the Orby in late September or at Book One in early October.
