Loch Lein (Invincible Spirit X Ashley Hall) won her maiden by six lengths at Cork last September when being placed behind Snowfall and St Mark’s Basilica on her previous two starts.  With both of those winning at GR1 level much was expected of Loch Lein when she went to Deauville to contest the Prix Amandine – a valuable listed race over seven furlongs.  She did not disappoint and ran out an easy winner.

Tucked in behind the leading pair by jockey Stephan Pasquier she took the lead over 1f out for a smooth victory.

Loch Lein is out of Ashley Hall, the winner in the USA and daughter of Maria’s Mon.  Ashley Hall has already produced five other winners and has a No Nay Never yearling colt which will be sold at Tattersalls Book One in October.  She is in foal to Wootton Bassett.
