Lynwood Gold (Mastercraftsman X Witch Of Fife) won twice and was 2nd twice as a 2YO, from five starts, and had an official rating of 98. He lost his way at three, running twelve times without ever winning. Put under the care of Jessica Harrington as a 4YO he was given most of the year off with just two appearances in October and November. Coming back to his old best in 2020 he has already achieved two wins and three places from six starts. We would like to congratulate all involved for bringing him back to his brilliant best and it is reported that he has some of the big handicaps on his programme for the Autumn. The Ebor in August is one of these and the Ebor trial at The Curragh on Friday netted his connections €23,600.

Staying up with the pace he took the lead two furlongs out and stayed on well throughout the final furlong. 1m6f is obviously his ideal racing distance and being by Mastercraftsman he has to avoid firm ground.
