Rapparee Champ (Churchill X Pernica) did not race as a 2YO and made his racecourse debut on May 16^th.  Coming home a fast finishing 3^rd went to Fairyhouse on June 16^th and was all the rage at a 4/5 favourite.  Again showing his greenness against experienced horses he wondered about in the straight and would have been an unlucky looser.  He still won and will learn plenty from his two outings.

Raparree Champ is the ¾ brother to Fernando Vichy whose wins included a listed race.  He is likely to follow the same route stepping up to run in black type races as he gains more experience.  He is the son of the Sir Percy mare, Pernica, who has an Australia foal on the ground and who is back in foal to Australia.
