Selador (Dark Angel X Loreto) had finished a close 2^nd twice, from three runs on grass in early 2022.  Being left off for the summer she reverted to the all weather at Dundalk finishing 4^th on her three runs in November and December over 1m which was all too short.

Stepping up to 1m2½f on January the 13^th she kept on strongly inside the final furlong for an easy win and showing that she may even be better at 1m4f.  Even though Loreto is by Holy Roman Emperor all her siblings have won at distances from 1m2f to 1m6f.  With her maiden win achieved and a rating in the mid seventies she should pick up some worthwhile handicaps in the months ahead.
