USS Constitution (US Navy Flag X Stor Mo Chroi) went close on his debut at Sandown being beaten less than half a length.  He went off at a much shorter price in the British EBF Novice Stakes Class 4 at Ascot taking the lead shortly after coming out of the stalls and never headed.  The runner up threw down a strong challenge in the final furlong both being five lengths In front of the 3rd but the winner found plenty and was always in control.  After the race his trainer said that USS Constitution will go for a black type race before being put away for a 3YO Career.

USS Constitution is the fourth produce, all winners, of the unraced Montjeu mare Stor Mo Chroi.  She is the daughter of Landmark who has produced multiple black type winners.  The full sister to USS Constitution sells at Tattersalls Book 2 in October and there is a new bay foal on the ground.
