Wajeez (Lope De Vega X Chanter) we had lots of near misses with black type races in October with Fourth Way finishing third, California finishing second and Foundation finishing third after being denied a run in the Racing Post Trophy.
However all came good on November 4th when Wajeez, first time out, spread eagled a high quality field winning by seven lengths the B & M Installations Maiden Stakes. His impressive win gave him an immediate quote of 20-1 for next years’s Derby so his trainer John Gosden has lots to look forward to with both him and Foundation.
We would like to congratulate Sheikh Hamdan and his racing manager Angus Gold in having such an exciting horse for 2016
